In 2014 we will celebrate a new edition of the popular race Lanzarote WineRun, and this time the event will be enriched with the Traditional Cuisine Festival; one idea that comes from the organization of the event, in order to provide more and new incentives to all participants, amateurs and followers.

TRADITIONAL CUISINE FESTIVAL

Saborea Lanzarote will organize a full calendar of culinary activities in Mancha Blanca, Tinajo, the nerve centre of this year’s WineRun. Our great chefs and restaurateurs will surprise you again. Soon you will be able to consult the culinary program and tasting for everyone to enjoy. Bon appetit!

Our best wineries will also be present to offer its wide range of wines, and to conclude we will try to amaze you with musical performances and other surprises. This year, it is not to be missed.

A. Long race:

9:00 am departures from Bodega La Geria.
Finish in Mancha Blanca.
Travel by bus: from Mancha Blanca departure.

Carrera corta:

10:30 am departures from Bodegas El Grifo (the output is subject to the pass of the last runner of category long race).
Finish in Mancha Blanca.

Q?When is the race?
A. On Sunday June 15th.

Q?Withdrawal of bib
A. On June 14th you will be able to retrieve your race bib and a winerunner bag from the registration desks located in Mancha Blanca. The organization shall inform in good time.

When you go to the registration desk you should have already checked your bib number and must present the following:

– Bib number
– A valid National Identity Card/Passport or other official photo identification

The registration staff will give you the race kit with the following content.

Q?Can I get on my own to the starting point?
A. NO. The organization provides compulsory bus transportation from Mancha Blanca to the starting points. Keep in mind that roads will be closed for the race and access to the starting point it is not guaranteed otherwise.

In the spirit of all winerunner is to preserve and protect the space; coming across parked cars within the route may not only cause safety issues ; it alsolosesoriginality.

A. The deadline for registration is June 12 or when the quota is complete (whichever comes first).
