Stories in the night of San Juan
Alicia leaves home in San Juan with a story book in her backpack. Sitting by a fire, she meets two strange characters: the Queen and the Hatter. The Queen suggests for her to throw the book into the fire, which meant that all those old children’s stories would become a reality. Alicia will get to meet many of those old characters turned into night creatures.
Minsk Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra
In 2016, solo musicians of the most important Minsk groups (Bolshoi and Philharmonic), joined forces to set up an orchestra that focused on chamber music. From the very beginning, their live performances drew audiences and they became a frequent act in concert halls and festivals all over Europe.
Lanzarote International Marathon
With an average temperature of 19ºC the Lanzarote International Marathon takes place in December along a coastal avenue in the Island of Lanzarote, covering the municipalities of Costa Teguise, Arrecife, San Barlotomé and Puerto del Carmen. It has three distances (42k, 21k and 10k), awarding each of the different categories by age and gender.
Lanzarote Visual Music Festival
The Lanzarote Visual Music Festival was created in 1989, following a suggestion made by artist Ildefonso Aguilar and sponsored by the Cabildo of Lanzarote. The Festival is an outstanding artistic event based on the combination of avant-garde music with different artistic forms of expression in perfect harmony with the unique features of the natural stage landscapes of Lanzarote, such as the Jameos del Agua and Cueva de los Verdes Auditoriums.
Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote
The swim course takes place in the lagoon in front of Club La Santa, on the North West coast of Lanzarote. It is a one loop course and athletes will run past spectators and supporters on their way to the first transition.
