Cactus Garden in Lanzarote
The Jardín de Cactus (Cactus Garden) is a wonderful example of an architectural intervention integrated into the landscape.
César Manrique created this audacious architectural complex, maintaining the same unbreakable connection between art and nature that is found in all his spacial interventions. It is located in the village of Guatiza, in the municipality of Teguise, in the heart of an agricultural landscape characterised by extensive plantations of prickly pear cactus dedicated to the cultivation of cochineal.
Opening hours: from 10:00 to 17:45; and in summer from 9:00 to 17:45.
